  ENZO MARI (Novara 1932 - Milano 2020)

Enzo Mari was one of the greatest masters in Italian Design. His work ranges from prints to furniture and extraordinary complements.

Born in Novara in 1932, Enzo Mari went on to study at the Accademia delle Belle Arti in Milan. He developed a distinctive trait very quickly and, in the fifties, he started to exhibit his collections in art galleries and contemporary museums. His outstanding work has often dealt with innovative concepts shapes and forms often in contrast with the ideas and standards popular at the time. Awarded three times the prestigious Compasso d’Oro, Mari’s designs have become true international icons.
